I don’t think its a secret that I absolutely love weddings, but I especially love them when its watching your friends tie the knot!

I first met Ania and Tristan back when I did their family photos years ago, when they asked me to photograph their wedding for August 2020 in Edmonton, I was ecstatic! Of course, Covid-19 had other plans, and they ended up having to cancel their wedding back in April.

In June I received a text from Ania asking if I would be down to photograph their impromptu Kelowna wedding  in a couple weeks, to which the answer was ABSOLUTELY YES!

As an Edmonton Wedding photographer, I don’t get to get away quite as much as I would like, but Kelowna is stunning, and provided the best backdrop I could ask for. We were a little worried about rain, but ended up with a gorgeous day despite a light sprinkling during the formal photos!

Tristan and Ania’s kids made appearances throughout the day, which I think made it all the more special. At one point little Tom even ended up grabbing some Kleenex to bring the couple before their vows.
